The Ultimate Top Tips Guide! Over the past year, we've asked members of the Railway Modellers Club to share their railway modelling Top Tips. There have been some real gems submitted. Some will make you ask "why didn't I think of that?". And some will completely change the way you build models, create scenery or lay track. There are tips for making your own handy tools. Tips for track cleaning, making a spray booth, weathering track, making hedges... You name it!

So we've compiled them all together into one Ultimate Top Tips For Railway Modelling eBook. Yep, there are no less than 11 volumes of Top Tips compiled into one hand PDF eBook that you can read on your phone, tablet or even print off if you wish.

There are gems link this one from Andy:
"Ever wanted to pass fine wires through a high-level section to underneath a baseboard? I was struggling to find a way to do this for a colour light signal. I particularly wanted the ability to  remove the signal if a fault develops. I settled upon using heat shrink tubing to channel the wires. It’s great because it is flexible and can simply be glued and trimmed to size."

And this one from David:
"Layering. Layering. Layering. Whether weathering, building scenics or simply painting a  building (or anything) then use multiple grades of material, blend, add different sizes for scenics; weather in multiple layers, using different materials and techniques; paint in layers and different tones. This all adds layers and realism. Two of the best examples of what can be achieved is the work by Mouldy Raspberry and on Everard Junction."

This 40+ age handy reference is jam-packed full of great Top Tips! You're bound to learn something new and ingenious to try out next time you're doing a bit of modelling.
